I am not Solange, nor can I assist you in acquiring direct contact with Solange or any of her primary associates. This is merely a site that hopes to showcase her career in a non-exploitative manner. Though the graphics of this site are made by myself (Unless otherwise noted), all photographs stored in the gallery and used in graphical work are © their respective photographers.

¤ Who? What? When? Where? Why?

I became a fan of Solange after becoming impressed with her Gucci Fall/Winter 2005 ad campaign, and slowly but surely, she rose in my top female model ranks and settled at the #1 spot, with her more recent works only solidifying her position as my favorite model. Even though she began to work at a young age, she remains a friendly, level-headed girl who continues to pursue her ambitions and takes care of her family. Personally, I feel that she serves as a positive role model for future young girls who aspire to tread upon her career path. Thus, I created this site not only as a dedication to Solange, but also as a place for others to understand that even top models are still everyday girls/women. They're beautiful on the inside as well :)

"Bohemian Beauty," the name of this site, comes from the background commentary given in this video featuring Solange. The first time I heard the term, I thought it represented her appearance perfectly, since I always thought that she epitomized a combination of conventional and unconventional beauty. Therefore, the name stuck ;)

Version 1 uses the general themes of violet hues and circular forms. The graphic uses a great amount of Photoshop layer effects, such as outer glow, in order to give it both geometric and ethereal effects simultaneously. The navigation buttons were meant to be fun and quirky, with the mouseover effect of "glowing" implemented around the circles in order to create a more animated atmosphere as you explore the site. The fonts used on the graphic were Commercial Script BT and Agency FB, whereas the actual contents of the pages use the common Verdana font.
